Attached is a September 14 2025 letter to the Board from the Chairs of the Area I and Area F Advisory Planning Commissions.

This letter reflects months of work reviewing the MOCP and provides a grounded perspective from two rural communities directly impacted by these decisions.

As we now begin to see the draft Comprehensive Zoning Bylaw (CZB), many of the concerns raised are starting to take shape — particularly in how MOCP policies are being interpreted and applied. This reinforces the importance of getting the policy framework right from the outset.
